How to be successful @ work?

Simple! Work towards making your boss successful. If your boss is successful you will be successful in the organization. When I say successful I don't mean pleasing your boss! You got to make him successful which means his objectives are derived from organization's objectives hence would make the organization successful. While you do that don't look at your boss's measures but one step beyond i.e your boss's boss. This is like driving, where you don't drive looking at the stop light of the car in front of you but the one in front of that.
