Business Idea

There is a need for companies that post job requirements to expose the status of each position they opened up. HR organizations in these companies should expose the life cycle for each position to help the candidates. The work flow could be to show candidates the status "Collecting Resume", "Interviews going on", "Short listed candidates", "Offer extended", "Position closed". There should be a web service that one can use to ping the status for each job the person is interested in to see if he can still apply.

There should be another web service for the candidates to ping and see if their resume is making any progress for the job they applied for.

This will be a good image building exercise for the company and prospective candidates.
