I came up with this random thought. This occurred to me while I was watching the movie Gandhi with my family. I now know why Hindu-Muslim fight came up before independence in India. Gandhi practiced non-violence. He uttered the last words "Ram Ram" before his death. Gandhi is a Hindu. Muslims always read the other way i.e. They read Ram as Mar. Muslims interpreted Gandhi as "Mar Mar"(Mar means fight or hit in Hindi) thinking that he is suggesting a Hindu-Muslim fight !!
