Indian children brought up in USA

There is always this dilemma on how our(Indian) children should be brought up. When you live outside the country you are more worried about the culture etc. My observation is that Indian children brought up in USA are like coconut, brown outside and white (American slang, thoughts & habits) inside. Nothing wrong with what they are doing but I just thought of this analogy.
